Marco Derksen
Marco Derksen is founder of Marketingfacts, the most popular marketing website community in the Netherlands. The variety of items differs from lighter to in-depth articles, and that makes that Marketingfacts has over 80.000 unique visitors per month.
Marco Derksen is also an independent advisor in the Interactive Marketing Field where he helps different companies with the development and implementation of several marketing strategies. Since 1999 Marco has worked for several clients like Procter & Gamble, Heineken, ING, Endemol, Essent, Amicon, KPN Internet en Ilse Media.
Through Upstream, his holding company, Marco has several start-ups within the social media business, for example Foodlog and Arnhem-Direct.
Besides his responsibilities within Marketingfacts, Marco Derksen is also Chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, member of the Board at VPRO and a teacher in New media at the Han (University of Arnhem and Nijmegen).
